My wife Laura and I recently closed on a property in Siesta Key, Florida.  We were down in Florida months ago and were loosely looking for an investment property/winter condo with very little knowledge of where to begin looking.  We started in Tampa and drove along the gulf coast to Naples.   We stopped in several relator agencies along the way and inquired about various areas and markets.  Along the way, we stumbled into the Caldwell Banker’s office in Siesta Key and had the pleasure of meeting Jack and Kris.  They were very knowledgeable and helpful and provided us with a ton of information and market comps.  We looked around the local areas and then continued on our journey down the coast to Naples.  As you can imagine, there are many different market dynamics from Tampa to Naples and all parts in between.   We made our way back to Siesta Key, largely because of Jack and Kris and their hospitality and customer focus.  They were never “pushy” or overly aggressive.  To the contrary, they were helpful, timely, and respectful to all of our questions and thoughts.   They gave us many options that “fit” what we were looking for and took their time in helping us explore the right property that would meet our criteria.   
 
We found our target property and began the rather long and difficult process of negotiations.  I have purchased many properties in my life, both personal and business, but this particular transaction was fairly challenging for many reasons.  With us living in Ohio and purchasing the property in Florida required a lot more work and effort from Jack and Kris.  They went above and beyond in EVERY WAY, to help make this challenging process as easy as possible for us.  They made multiple trips to the property on our behalf, walked through and followed up on multiple inspection issues and truly were our eyes and ears on the ground in our absence.  I know many relators that simply would have refused to put the amount of time and effort into representing their clients.  For this reason, I want to take the time to commend and applaud both Jack and Kris for their professionalism and persistence in this long process.  They are tremendous assets to Caldwell Banker and individuals who you should be very thankful to have representing your company.  Too often real estate transactions are viewed as just that, one and done transactions.  This is not the case with Jack and Kris.  They have become true resources and friends in the process.  I hope you all would agree that they are the difference between being mere “agents” versus trusted partners and friends in the process.
